Cygnus - the Swan.

The constellation is home, amongst other things, to one of the most luminous stars known by man: Deneb (Alpha Cygni), the tail of the swan. It's nearing the end of its lifespan, its hydrogen reserves almost exhausted. Only a few more million years, and it may dissolve into the brilliance of a supernova...

But the far most fascinating object in the Cygnus constellation, and ultimately the one thing which had me pick it as the home for my soul, is the object designated Cygnus X-1.

Cygnus X-1 is an X-object because it's exact nature is unknown. Overwhelming amounts of evidence, however, point to it being a black hole. Still, this, by itself is long since nothing special anymore.

What makes Cygnus X-1 so alluring is that it used to be a double-star system - X-1 is coupled with the blue supergiant HDE 226868. Not only has the star survived its companion going supernova - an event wherein it no doubt was stripped of much of its outermost shell's matter - but it continues to persist even in the wake of the mighty maelstrom of the blackhole. In fact, bizarrely, it is still so heavy itself that the center of gravity of the double-star system sits within its gut, causing the star to 'wobble', with the blackhole slung in irregular orbit around it.

For my own purposes, I have designated the starsystem Siren.

Siren - because what could be more alluring and deadly at the same time than such a brilliant sapphire, entwined with a maw of the universe...?
